It hasn’t been an exciting season for Knicks fans, but when the organization makes Phil Jackson their President, you have to smile and think, 'this was a great decision'.

I have highlighted in my past blogs the poor choices this badly mismanaged team has made over the years, and the fact they let Pat Riley go because he wanted more control of the organization, and look what Pat has done for the Miami Heat.

Phil Jackson is a proven winner, time and time and time again, 11 championships, 2 as a player, 9 as a coach.

What can he bring to New York? A total understanding of the game, physically, strategically, and motivationally.

This is something the fans have desperately needed. Phil brings hope for a playoff team and let’s just start with that.
