Doug’s Sports Rap: The New Look Knicks

Well four games into the preseason and the Knicks are 2 and 2, with six more games to go before the start of the 2014-15 season.

The big push has been to improve on defense first and then gradually get the new offense fine tuned with the incorporated triangle offense.

I have watched parts of each game and I am still uncertain of what the team will do in the regular season, and I believe many fans are not impressed at this point.

I am excited about the play of Samuel Delembert  who shot blocking and rebounds will be a big help to the Knicks defense, Jose Calderon, who vision and shooting ability will help with the triangle, Quincy Acy will also help on both sides of the ball, and I’ve always liked the play of Cole Aldrich, my verdict is still out on Bargnani.

In addition to the key players, there is a lot to be excited about, I just haven’t seen enough at this point, so we’ll continue this conversation on a future blog
