There was a lot of praising and acknowledgment during the Knicks final game of the season on Wednesday night, but it wasn't the team,or coaching staff that were being praised for this horrible season.

The fans received the highest degree of appreciation for the painful display of basketball this team demonstrated for most of the 82 games.

Madison Square Garden even supplied free food and drink for all fans at the season closer, the players spoke over the PA, and even the commentators had sympathy for the ticket buyers.

The New York Knicks finished their season 17 and 65, with only 10 wins at home, and 7 on the road. the second worse record in the entire NBA ,just one win more than the Minnesota Timber Wolves.

The NBA lottery will be held on May 20th, the Knicks have a 19.9% chance of drawing the number one pick, and the worst they can do is the number five pick.

The question most fans are asking, will  the team be better next year?

I don't think we could be any worse, the bigger question, will we they a play off team competing for a championship?

Phil Jackson has put this team in the best possible position, a low draft pick, lots of salary cap money to bring in some free agents, and his knowledge and success with building championship basket ball teams, you don't win 11 championships by being a hack..

I can't wait to see what comes next, it all begins May 20th with the lottery.

Go Knicks
