Syracuse Freshman Guard Tyler Ennis has thrown his hat into the ring for the 2014 NBA draft. One year after Michael Carter-Williams made his Syracuse exit and joined the ranks of basketballs finest.

Ennis averaged 12.9 points, 5.5 assists and 3.4 rebounds for the Orange this season and although he will be missed, he is following his dream and who wouldn’t if they had the chance.

So will he get chosen in the first round? Many think so including me, the rules are very different in the NBA and Ennis’s ability to slash into the paint will be an advantage to the team’s offense.

Coach Boeheim commended Tyler on his unselfish play and constant desire to elevate his skills on the court.

Good luck Tyler and thanks for a great year!
