Doug’s Sports Rap: Syracuse Orange How Far Can They Go

Getty Images / Jared Wickerham

Watching the Orangemen’s first tournament game yesterday it was very apparent that the intensity of the teams play had augmented on both sides of the ball.

Tyler Ennis hit a jump shot with the score 2-2 to take the lead and Syracuse never looked back. 43 rebounds and big production from their offense.

So how deep into the tournament will this team go? They face a less talented Dayton team that have come off an upset win. Saturday at 7:10pm in Buffalo.

If these guys can stay healthy and focused on both offense and defense, they could go back to the final four once again.

I certainly liked what I saw on Friday afternoon, they looked like a group with a will to win. Go Orange!
