The regular NFL season is over and the annual booting of the head coaches and other staff members is in full bloom.

I thought I'd bring you up-to-date with some of the changes going into next season.

Let's start with the New York Teams:

The New York Jets, who had Rex Ryan's office ready for a fresh coat of paint before the final game of the regular season, they actually made it a double booting by firing General Manager John Idzik.

The Jets replace Ryan with Arizona Cardinal Defensive Coordinator, Todd Bowles, and swapped out Idzik for Mike Maccagnan who was a college football scouting director. The Jets also hired Chan Gailey as their offensive coordinator, rumor has it Dolphins defensive line coach Kacy Rodgers will be the next defensive coordinator.

The Jets have had a couple of bad seasons following back to back trips to the AFC conference games, they really don't have anywhere to go but up, so I’m sure they will improve next season. As for making the play-offs...meh.

The Buffalo Bills, didn't get the satisfaction of axing head coach Doug Marrone who opted out of his contact. So they gave a shout out to Rex Ryan as he was cleaning out his office with the Jets, and hired him as their new head coach, along with 49ers offensive coordinator Greg Roman, and the Bills hired Dennis Thurman as defensive coordinator.

This is a tough call, many Bills fans are not happy but things could change if Rex gets the team winning, the fans will be grinning.

The New York Giants, fired Perry Fewell after a horrible season, and brought back former Defensive Coordinator Steve Spagnuolo. Giants fans will remember Steve was the DC during the Giants 2007 Super Bowl victory.

I think the fans are exciting about the potential going into the 2015-16 season.
