The New York Knicks are a team that hasn’t been fun to watch this season. With 5 wins out of 40 games played, they are the worst percentage team in the entire NBA.

I have said many times that this organization has placed a Band-Aid over the team year after year ever since Patrick Ewing left the team.

Each year management attempts to bring in a big name player with a huge salary along with free agents that consume the entire salary cap while giving away our 1st and 2nd draft picks.

Many of these players have come to the team with attitudes, out of shape, and several have wound up on the bench for most of the season, Eddie Curry, Antonio McDyess, Jerome James and others.

Phil Jackson is stripping this team of the dead weight and focusing on player development, with a low draft pick and plenty of money to attract big name players, the next few seasons look very promising.

This past Saturday, New York Knicks President, Phil Jackson, addressed the media and fans with a press conference that revealed the organizations plans for the rest of the season and seasons to come.
