Last month I predicted that Lebron James would stay in Miami, and Carmello Anthony would leave the Knicks, it just goes to show you that sports is a funny thing, sometimes the variables predict a perfect storm to the championship, and then there’s decisions like these.

I’ll start with Carmello Anthony because his is the easiest to explain, $130 Million over 5 years and the realization that there’s no guaranteed he’ll win a championship ring by signing with another team.

I am glad Carmello will be in a Knicks uniform again this year, with all the changes, it is going to be an interesting season.  Go Knicks!

Lebron’s decision is very different and I think inside he feels a little guilty for leaving his home and joining the stacked money team in South Beach.  (I only wished it had been the Knicks)

King James returns to the Cavs with 2 championship rings and a new challenge, trying to bring a championship to Cleveland. (Lebron was raised in Akron which is about a half hour from Cleveland)

I have always thought Lebron was a class act and whether he brings a championship to Cleveland or not, he will always be a class act to me.

A few of Lebron’s Quotes

"If I had to do it all over again, I’d obviously do things differently, but I’d still have left. Miami, for me, has been almost like college for other kids."
"I always believed that I’d return to Cleveland and finish my career there. I just didn’t know when."
