As I sat and watched the New York Giants 3rd preseason game this past Saturday night, I was already writing my sports rap blog, and despite the amazing 4th quarter comeback, it does not change the fact that the offensive starters were even less affective than the past two games, Ben McAdoo's starters were more like McA Doo Doo.

So here's my Big Blue report card on the starters:
Eli Manning 1 of 7 for 6 yards  Grade F
Offensive Line               Grade F
Running game              Grade D

Passing game             Grade F
Defense                     Grade C
Special Teams                Grade Me'h

When all was said and done the Giants staged a 4th quarter come back from a 26 to 0 deficit to win 27-26, but by the time the comeback started every starter for both teams were out, so the efforts (positive as they may be) were moot, because the first string/potential starters were non productive, even Victor Cruz couldn't hold on to the ball, come on Cruz, you want the big salary be the real Jerry Rice and hold on to the freekin football.

I am also going to defend Eli Manning, because I have been hearing about this new Bob McAdoo offense that implements quick no huddle plays, quick screens and short passes and I'm watching pretty much the same scenarios as last season, Eli Manning being rushed heavily by huge D backs and D lineman, many running freely at him with no protection, how in the hell do you expect him to be able to find passing lanes like that?

The biggest problem the Giants face is fixing their offensive line, if they can't protect their franchise quarterback, they are going to have another sub par season.

They take on the Jets at Met life Friday night...to be continued
