The road to the Super bowl continues this weekend with the NFL Divisional Playoffs, so it's time for me to play armchair quarterback and make my predictions.

Let's start with the AFC.

The Baltimore Ravens at the New England Patriots: This should be a pretty good game! The Patriots are clearly the better team, even though they lost 4 games, the last game was minus several starters against Buffalo. I still consider that a game they would have won. The Ravens defense has slipped a little and I don’t think Joe Flacco can match Tom Brady in scoring. My pick, 34-17, Patriots.

Indianapolis Colts at the Denver Broncos: Andrew Luck is a good quarterback but what bothers me about the Colts is they lost to two NFC east teams (Cowboys and Eagles). The question in my mind is which Colts team will show up? The other side of the coin is Peyton Manning, who in all fairness, has been known to have a bad game once in a while, but at home and well rested Denver should dominate. My pick, 45-17, Broncos.

Now the NFC.

The Carolina Panthers at the Seattle Seahawks: These two teams met in week 8 and the Seahawks won by less than a touchdown (13-9). Despite their 7-8-1 record, Cam Newton has this team firing on all cylinders with a 5 game winning streak. I would love nothing more than to see Carolina serve up Richard Sherman a big heaping glass of shut the hell up, but this is a different Seattle team that they played in October. They’re ranked number 1 in pass defense and number 3 in rush defense. They also have the number 1 rushing offense. My pick, 28-3, Seahawks.

The Dallas Cowboys at the Green Bay Packers: The Cowboys have a much improved team this year, they put a lot into their offensive with smart draft picks on the offensive line. RB DeMarco Murray is the big reason Dallas is number 2 in rushing offense. The Green Bay Packers have a well balanced offense, Aaron Rodgers is battling a calf injury but he is a seasoned veteran of the game with a lot of playoff experience. So the big question is can the Cowboys who are 26th in pass defense stop Green Bay who is 8th in passing, and 11th in rushing? My pick, 28-14, Packers.

I’m usually over 50% in my past predictions, but who knows, this is the wacky world of sports!

Here’s the proof! Check out these last minute Super Bowl wins:
