It was the battle of the boroughs as the Manhattan based New York Knicks hosted the Brooklyn Nets at Madison Square Garden last night.

The Knicks were playing the role of spoiler, but the Nets were the foilers with a 100-98 win, and a sweep of the season.

The New York Knicks have 7 games remaining in their nightmare season, the worst in franchise history.

It's hard to stay focused as a fan, so I can only imagine how difficult it must be for the players and coaches, in fact the post game shows have been mostly about the great plays of the competition.

The D League caliber of this Knicks team makes them barely competitive and at times painful to watch.

The excitement for Knicks fans will come after the regular season ends and the NBA lottery balls are picked, and then fans will wait to see who the team will pick during the actual draft.

The positive is we won't have to wait too long, the Knicks are guaranteed one of the first four picks in the draft.
