On a night when the under classed New York Knicks, the worst team in the league minus two starters, played like a championship team, and beat the defending NBA champion San Antonio Spurs in over time 104-100.

Langston Galloway and Alexey Shved combined for 43 points, and the Knicks battled back from their usual 10 point plus deficit, without starters Tim Hardaway Jr and Cleanthony Early.

Once again the play of Lou Amundson reinforces what I have said about him all along, he plays aggressive, and his lay up with seconds left in regulation tied the game, setting up their overtime victory.

We know many of these guys will not be back next year, but last night Madison Square Garden may have been treated to the best game of this dismal season.

Go Knicks.
