Written and recorded by Bob Dylan in 1967 for his album 'John Wesley Harding', it was a song he loved to play in concert and was also recorded on other Dylan albums through the years.

Many artists have covered the song, but the most commercialized version was recorded by Jimi Hendrix and released on his 1968 'Electric Ladyland' album.
