I used to love watching commercials during the Super Bowl. Being the most expensive ad slots on TV, they were always creative. That was ruined a couple years ago as the commercials were purposely leaked on Youtube. Now, if there is no team I really like in the Big Game, why should I watch at all?

It costs 4 million bucks to put a 30 second ad on during the game. That is a lot of money! You can bet their production costs for that ad are maybe even more. So why lessen the impact by showing them early? I have no idea.

Early leaked game ads do get more views than expected, though. Actually 9 million views as opposed to 1.3 million views for ads released after the game. Huh.

Now I have to ask!
