The New York Met were unable to hold it together to force another game of the World Series, handing the crown to the Kansas City Royals.

Seven of the nine starters for the New York Mets have played in Binghamton either on rehab assignment or coming up through the organization.  The only two who didn't see action for the B-Mets are Curtis Granderson and Yoenis Cespedes.
