Where were you on August 31st, 1985? Maybe in your favorite record store picking up the new Dire Straits album? Possibly.

If so, you and many others contributed to the success of 'Brothers In Arms.' It was on this date that the album reached the number one spot on the U.S. album charts. It was also a number one album in many other countries, including the U.K. where it sat at the top for ten weeks.

Over 20 millions records sold worldwide. It is one of the most successful rock albums of all time. Great tunes live on 'Brothers in Arms' including Money For Nothing, Walk of Life and So Far Away.
