Days 2 and 3 of My Vacation

On the second day of our vacation, while still in Myrtle Beach, we woke up and went to the pool area at our timeshare. The timeshare has two pools for adults and a kid's pool, as well as a lazy river. We stayed there for a couple of hours and then headed off to the Myrtle Beach Airport to pick up our friends John and Lori who were flying down from the Binghamton Area to spend some time with us in Myrtle. After they arrived we went out for a late lunch in Murrells Inlet which is just south of Myrtle Beach. We went to a restaurant there called Drunken Jack's and sat on the back patio overlooking the Inter-Coastal. From there we drove back to the timeshare so they could unload their stuff. After they unpacked, we took them to one of the many multimillion-dollar miniature golf courses in Myrtle Beach.

Afterward, we headed off to Dick's Last Resort for dinner, cocktails, and a lot of laughs. Dick's is a restaurant where the servers are rude on purpose and end up giving everyone a paper hat with naughty sayings on them. It's fun to just walk around the restaurant and read everybody's hats. There are pictures below of our hats with the nasty sayings on them. As bad as these are, I've seen much worse.

On the third day of our vacation, John and I went golfing at Tidewater Golf Club. It was the first time I've ever played there and it was a beautiful course. While we were golfing or wives went shopping and did some wine tasting as well. After our round, our wives met us at the golf course for a drink. Then we all went out for dinner. After we ate, we went to a bar in Broadway at the Beach called Crocodile Rocks. They have dueling pianists who will play any request you want and they mix comedy into the show as well. We spent almost three hours there before we decided to call it a night.
