When Danica Patrick grabbed the pole for the Daytona 500 yesterday, there were a few drivers yet to qualify. One by one they got slower times and finally it was over. A woman was the pole sitter.

Now, Danica considers herself just another driver, and during interviews so did the guys. I don't think it's a big deal that a "she" did well.

The question is, will she do well during the race? The track has been worked on and there is the factor of the Gen-6 cars. Brand new style, untested by racing. As far as that part goes, it's a level playing field.  What makes Danica's chances of finishing well are the solid team owned by Tony Stewart, her strong chemistry and communication with Crew Chief Tony Gibson and those Hendrick motors.

Here's my two cents. She will have a top 5 finish. Now tell us yours!
