Binghamton’s Cupid’s Chase Supports Neighbors With Disabilities
I’m a firm believer that just because a person might live with a handicap, doesn't mean they should be deprived of all of the wonderful things that life has to offer and that's why I fully support the mission of Community Options.
Community Options is a gem right here in the Southern Tier which helps so many individuals and their families. They've helped people I love and children of people that I love. If you're not familiar with Community Options, they're a non-profit organization based on the belief that every single person deserves dignity and that they should be allowed to experience life to the fullest, regardless of whatever their disability might be. Community Options works hard to provide housing, support services and advocacy assistance to help empower people with disabilities.
To raise money and help support their programs Community Options is holding a 5K Cupid’s Chase on Saturday, February 10th in downtown Binghamton at the corner of Hawley and Court Streets.
Registration starts at 10am and the race begins at 11am with all proceeds benefitting local members of our community with disabilities. A limited number of shirts will be available the day of the race for anyone who didn't pre-register by December 31st.
If you're not a runner or not a fan of the cold, you can still help by becoming a virtual participant. Learn how to register to either run or be a virtual participant.
