Cruisin’Pallooza 13: ‘Bike Night During the Day’ Will Rock!
Cruisin’Pallooza 13 is gonna be filled with lots and lots of cool stuff for the entire family… especially if your family likes rides of the two wheeled variety.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 28th, 29th and 30th, the Biggest Little Car Show in the Southern Tier opens it’s mighty gates at the Broome County Fairgrounds in Whitney Point, N.Y. Three big days of food, fun, music and very cool rides.
Sunday is ‘Bike Night During the Day.’ And since we started this three years ago, the events has doubled in size, and attendance.
Again this year the Binghamton Hog Club (Harley Owners Group) will be the main dudes and dudettes helping us with the event. Expect a huge turnout for the bike games which include ‘ring toss, slow drags and drop your balls,’ all expertly emceed by 991 The Whale’s Big Wally and Holly Dagger.
The Binghamton Hog Club will also be organizing a ride to ‘The Pallooza,’ to benefit CHOW. For more info call Holly Dagger at 607 772 8400, Or Kathy from the Binghamton Hog Club at 725-9088.
We also have a full on ‘Bike Show,’ at Bike Night During the Day, organized by the Triple Cities Chopper Club, with top 3 trophies for the following classes.
1) Sport Bikes
3) Metric Cruisers
4) American Cruisers
5) Classic (20 years or older)
6) Touring (Gold Wings, Ultra Classic)
Registration for Bikes for the show is $7 dollars advance and $13 day of show.
The Red Knights Motorcycle Club, will once again be bringing their burnout box. This is the coolest thing in the world to watch as we see if anyone can catch all 6 gears. But as you can see by the picture, seeing is at a premium when the burnout is done correctly.
Sunday at Cruisin’Pallooza also features the awesome sound of ‘Recycled Zombies,’ on the Greene’s Ace Home Center Stage. These guys rock like you cannot believe, plus they have a real live ‘Vampire’ on Bass!
Last year we had about 2-thousand motorcycles on the Broome County Fairgrounds, and this year we expect more, A LOT MORE!
Plus there will be lots of food, a kids zone, we’ll have a huge flea market and craft village. There will be a Cruise In area for the classic cars showing up to see how the ‘Two Wheelers,’ do it, and an adult beverage area, just to name a few.
Admission to Cruisin’Pallooza’s Bike Night During the Day is $3 per person. Saturdays car show is $5 per person (kids 10 and under are free) . And of course Friday nights Cruisin to the Pallooza is Free for all.
