Cruisin’Pallooza 13: Be Prepared for a Weekend of Fun

Big Wally

If I had one piece of advice for you this weekend it would be for you to recite the Boy Scout Motto; ‘Be Prepared.’

I have been in contact with the weather geeks at WBNG TV, and while there is a lot of unsettles weather in the area for the weekend, just because it’s raining where you are, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it will be raining at the Broome County Fairgrounds in Whitney Point for Cruisin’Pallooza 13.

BUT… BE PREPARED.

While considering any event this weekend, make sure you bring along an umbrella and a raincoat or a poncho. Maybe an extra pair of socks and another pair of shoes would be a cool thing to pack in the trunck of your car?

There’s lots going on in Whitney Point this weekend, by the way. There’s a triathalon at Dorchester Park. There’s a brand new Farmers Market open all weekend next to The Scoop Ice Cream Shop on route 11. Plus we have the biggest Cruisin’Pallooza hot rod and custom car show, flea market and bike event ever. So come to Broome County’s northern most town and have a ball this weekend!

And just so you know, that purple car in the photo above…. it’s Big Wally’s!
