Coyotes Spotted in Endicott

Apparently there have been a few more coyote sightings in our area lately. I saw one yesterday run in front of my truck.

While there have been no immediate threats posed to people, there was a report that a coyote or coyotes approached a dog accompanying an individual at an Endicott  park, without incident or contact.

IF YOU DO ENCOUNTER A COYOTE

Do not advance towards the animal. Calmly leave the area. Avoid direct eye contact.
Coyotes quickly lose their natural fear of humans when they begin to associate us with food and can become bold, even aggressive.

And never ever feed wildlife!
