The beginning and end of the song was written by Willie Dixon and recorded by blues musician Sonny Boy Williamson, the rest was pure Led Zeppelin.

The song was meant to be a tribute to Sonny Boy Williamson and appeared on Led Zeppelin 2 and the band used to play a part of it before they went into 'Black Dog' during their live shows, and as most Zeppelin tunes it was never a single release.

This past April Original Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley released an album of cover songs paying tribute to different artists and bands. The project included a cover version from Zepp two.

Here is my 'Got Ya Covered' video for this week. Ace Frehley with 'Bring it on Home'. Also ,check out the original version beginning from Sonny Boy Williamson, "Bring it on Home."
