Written by Whitfield and Strong for Motown in 1966, it was first recorded by Gladys Knight & The Pips and hit #2 on the US Billboard charts.

Many artists have covered this song over the years from Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, and even the California Raisins.

Creedence Clearwater Revival recorded their version on the 1970 album 'Cosmo's Factory'. It was around eleven minutes in length and is my favorite of all the remakes.

Enjoy this week's "Got Ya Covered' Video, Creedence Clearwater Revival's 'I Heard It Through the Grapevine.

Check out the original version too.
