Countdown to Spring

It's hard to believe winter will be over in about a month, last year we had record cold temperatures and plenty of snow to remind us that we live in the northeast..

Spring arrives on Sunday March 20th, and  we can make the statement that this has been an extremely mild winter, but I think we're all holding our breath in hopes that statement remains true for the next several weeks.

I was thinking about what I like about spring, and I think it's the promise of a summer, which leads us to the many activities we do outside of our homes.

Spring brings the planning of travel, social gatherings, outside home improvements, and barbecues with family and friends.

My wife and I have a Mustang convertible that we bring out of storage in April, we love to take drives through the finger lakes and other scenic spots in upstate New York.

Our granddaughter will be two this season, so we have plans to do some things with her that she'll enjoy more this year.

We haven't had a Mosher family reunion in quite a few years, so I think that's in the works too.

I hope my plans have made you start to think about what your going to do as we countdown to Spring.
