The region’s new representative to Congress plans a face-to-face with constituents in Binghamton January 26.

The meeting with Congressman Anthony Brindisi is set for 4 p.m. at American Legion Post 1645 at 39 Louisa Street.

The Democrat had wanted to hold the in-person Town Hall January 22 but had to postpone the appearance due to a change in the House voting schedule.

Instead, Brindisi had a phone-in session with constituents that evening, even reaching out to residents through robo-calls just before the start of the session to allow them to tap in if they wanted to participate.
