Back in the 'ol Whale time machine for a trip into Rock-n-Roll History. Let's go!

This time around, we're heading to 1969 when The Beatles 45 of Come Together and Something from the 'Abbey Road' album, topped the U.S. singles charts. John Lennon wrote Come Together although it's credited to both John Lennon and Paul McCartney, and Something was written by George Harrison.

The 'A' side contained Something, and the 'B' side was the home for Come Together. The two songs became The Beatles 18th number one single.

Other rockers covered Come Together, including Aerosmith, which you hear on The Whale. For this week's Classic Rock Pick, check out The Beatles performing Come Together at a concert in New York City, below.
