The date is December 16th, 1970. I'm in my final year of junior high school; my friends and I were kings of the school! One of our favorite rock groups in 1970 was Creedence Clearwater Revival, and this date was golden for them. Literally.

34 years ago, the band struck gold with several albums and singles. The albums certified gold were 'Creedence Clearwater Revival', 'Green River;' 'Cosmo's Factory' (my favorite), and 'Bayou Country and Willy and the Poor Boys.' The singles included, 'Bad Moon Rising', ‘Down on the Corner’, ‘Up around the Bend', 'Lookin' out My Back Door' and 'Travelin' Band.'

For today's Classic Rock Two for Tuesday, let's enjoy a couple of live performances from CCR. Here's 'Lookin' Out My Back Door' and 'Bad Moon Rising'.
