I'm not sure where Two for Tuesday this and that came about, but as they say, two is usually better than one.

For this version of Classic Rock Two For Tuesday, let's go in a bit of a different direction. It was on this day in 1980, the the movie 'The Blues Brothers' debuted in Chicago. It featured Dan Akroyd, John Belushi, along with Carrie Fisher, Ray Charles, Cab Calloway, Aretha Franklin, John Candy and James Brown.

The movie, directed by John Landis, had a budget of around 30 million, and  to make and took in just over 115 million. Not a bad profit margin. Some good tunes tunes came from the movie, including 'Everybody Needs Somebody To Love' and' Shake A Tail Feather.'

Let's make those two gems our Two For Tuesday this week. After watching them, you know you're going to want to find the movie and watch it all over again,. I bet it's been a long time!
