Ready? The Whale Time Machine is gonna land back in Saugerties, New York on August 13th, 1994.

Well, it wasn't the original Woodstock, but it was an awesome show just the same, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the original. The stage featured the likes of the Nine Inch Nails, Blues Traveler, Collective Soul, Joe Cocker, Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Band, The Allman Brothers Band, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day and Aerosmith, along with many others on 2 stages.

It was called '2 More Days of Peace and Music.' A ticket to get in cost about 135 dollars, but with over 350,000 people showing up throughout the two day festival, it was hard to tally up an exact attendance. So many more showed up than was expected, and probably several got over the simple chain link fence to witness the shows for free.

Just like Woodstock '69, it rained on the festival, turning the field into a mud pit, but I'm sure the audience didn't mind too much. For this version of Classic Rock Throwback Thursday, watch Aerosmith performing an awesome version of Sweet Emotion. (FYI, in the video, Steven Tyler throws out the 'F' word a couple of times.)
