Classic Rock Throwback Thursday – The Who [VIDEO]

I've had the chance to see The Who in concert a few times, and was in awe every time. What an amazing band, and they put on one hell of a concert. My only regret is that I didn't get to see them with Keith Moon.

Well, we can at least catch the original four from videos of the past. For this Classic Rock Throwback Thursday, let's go back to a Smothers Brothers show in 1967.

Back then, I suppose all the special effects were 'psychedelic' but now I think they just look silly. For starters, they could have done away with those annoying circles popping up all over the video! Towards the end, one of Keith's cymbals falls off the platform, later to be picked up by Tommy Smothers.

After the first song, Tommy introduces and jokes around with the guys in the band. Very entertaining! Do you think they were live or lip-synced?
