To be a fly on the wall at the Fillmore East in 1971. Or maybe you were there!

On this day that year, The Allman Brothers finished up a 2 night stand in NYC, which turned into a live double album for the boys in the band.
It was their 1st live LP and 3rd overall. The shows concert promoter was the legendary Bill Graham. The album was titled 'At Filmore East', and eventually went Platinum.

A few later editions were produced, including 'At Filmore East Deluxe Edition', 'The 1971 Filmore East Recordings', and 'At Filmore East Deluxe Edition.'

For this week's Throwback, let's look into the Filmore back in 1970 with the Allmans jamming out to 'The Whipping Post.'
