October 23rd, 1993, Meat Loaf's 'I'd Do Anything For Love' (But I Won't Do That') topped the singles chart in the United Kingdom where it remained for seven weeks. Another great song written and composed by Jim Steinman.

Beyond the borders of the U.K., the song also scored the number one position in twenty eight other countries, including the United States. It was Meat's first number one hit in the U.S.!
