Classic Rock Throwback Thursday – Janis Joplin [VIDEO]

April 2nd,1971, The number one album on the U.S. chart was Janis Joplin's 'Pearl.'

That album contained a few 'pearls' including 'Me & Bobby McGee' 'Cry Baby' and 'Mercedes Benz.' It was Joplin's second solo studio album,t spent nine weeks at the top of the chart and has been certified quadruple platinum.

I can only imagine how much more great music would have come from Janis, if she was still with us today. Watch Janis belt out 'Piece of my Heart' from a show in Germany back in 1968, as this week's Classic Rock Throwback Thursday.
