Classic Rock Throwback Thursday - Footstompin' Music

To the time machine we go! The date is set to February 26th, 1972, and I'm back in my senior year of high school. Good times.

This is also the day Grand Funk Railroad's 'Footstompin' Music' peaked at number 29 on the US singles chart. The song is on the album 'E Pluribus Funk', which I consider a very cool name and a great album. The other big hit off that LP is 'I'm Your Captain (Closer to Home)' reaching number 22 on the US singles chart.
