Classic Rock Throwback Thursday – 1987
1987.
Postage stamps cost 22 cents, The New York Giants beat Denver 39 to 20 in the Super Bowl, Indiana beat Syracuse in a heart breaker 74 to 73 in the NCAA College Basketball Final, and music was in the midst of the Hairband era.
Yea, there was Bon Jovi, Loverboy and Whitesnake among others.
I don't think it was the best year for rock music, but it wasn't a bad year either.
New music came out from .38 Special, Foreigner, Def Leppard, Bruce Springsteen and the Grateful Dead.
