Classic Rock Throwback Thursday – 1969
1969.
It was the end of a crazy decade.
The Vietnam War was in full tilt, protests were everywhere, and rock music was fully involved.
I was just entering high school in the Fall of '69, and that was an exciting and scary time all rolled up in one for me.
After being at the top of the class in junior high, I was about to be at the bottom of the high school ladder.
Fortunately, I made it through that first year unscathed.
I do remember all the great music that came out of 1969.
What were your favorite rock songs from that year?
Here are my top 5 rock songs of 1969 for this edition of Classic Rock Throwback Thursday.
