Styx made quite a mark in the world of Rock-n-Roll, and Tommy Shaw certainly made quite an impact on the success of Styx. Tommy's birthday is this Friday, born September 11th, 1953 in Montgomery Alabama. He's known as a rock vocalist and guitarist, playing for not only Styx, but also the super-group Damn Yankees and Shaw Blades.

The birthday boy has also been a part of other rock interests including singing on the Queen tune Spread Your Wings and has assisted on writing songs for Ozzy Osbourne.

Here's Tommy and Styx performing Too Much Time On My Hands at a show in 1983. Happy 'early' 62nd birthday, Tommy!
