It was on this day in '67 that the song All You Need Is Love became another number one hit for The Beatles. Ho Hum...another home run. Cha-ching. I'm sure they were probably a bit more upbeat than my description. The song was written by John Lennon for the Magical Mystery Tour album.

The first performance of the song was during a television broadcast of 'Our World'- a satellite broadcast that was beamed into 25 countries. More than 400 million saw the Beatles perform the song. Did you know the The 'B' side of the single contains the song Baby, You're A Rich Man? It does!
