Classic Rock Pick Of The Week – Rolling Stones ‘Let’s Spend The Night Together’ [Video]

It was back in 1967 -  46 years ago this week that the Rolling Stones appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show.
The stipulation was they could only be on the show if they agreed to change the words of the song 'Let's Spend The Night Together' to 'Let's Spend Some Time Together.'
It didn't sit well with the boys in the band, and Mick rolled his eyes every time they sang the amended title.

There were claims that to make matters worse, when Ed asked the Stones to come back for a second appearance, he told them to wear matching suits for a cleaner look!
So what did the guys, do?
They showed up in rental Nazi uniforms, Ed had a fit and the Stones changed into their normal stage clothes.
