As I pondered who to highlight for this week's Classic Rock Pick of the Week, Bob Seger's "Night Moves" came on The Whale.
That song has to be my favorite from Bob and the Silver Bullet Band.
My favorite part of the tune is when it slows down toward the end, and these lyrics kick in:
"I woke last night to the sound of thunder, How far off I sat and wondered. Started humming a song from 1962. Ain't it funny how the night moves. When you just don't seem to have as much to lose. Strange how the night moves With autumn closing in."
Yea, that gives me the chills for some unknown reason.

I found this older video version of the song, for you to enjoy, complete with grainy video and a bit tinny sound, but that's what makes it a classic, right?
