Classic Rock Pick Of The Week – Lou Reed [VIDEO]

The Rock World has lost another amazing person.
Lou Reed passed away last Sunday at age 71.
He was a great musician who will be sorely missed.Lou was the vocalist, songwriter and guitarist for the Velvet Underground in the 1960s.
The group didn't fare so well, and in the 1970s, he moved on to pursue a solo career.
Two of the many great songs he wrote and performed, are 'Walk On The Wild Side' and 'Sweet Jane', although his library of amazing music goes far beyond those two songs.

You may not have known this, but Lou spend time not too far from Binghamton, attending Syracuse University in the early 60s, where in addition to his studies, hosted a free form show on the campus radio station.
