On this day in 1969, Led Zeppelin released 'Led Zeppelin II' in the U.K.
I wonder if the group realized at that time how popular the album would become.

12 million copies sold in the U.S. and it stayed on the U.K. music charts for 138 weeks. It topped both album charts in the U.S. and U.K. at number 1. Jimmy Page produced the album, and spawned hits like 'Whole Lotta Love', 'Heartbreaker', 'Living Loving Maid', 'The Lemon Song', 'Thank You'...well, every song was a big hit...and still is!

For this week's edition of our Classic Rock Pick of the Week, I've picked out 'What Is And What Should Never Be' from a performance at the Royal Albert Hall in 1970 and for those of you (like me) who are percussionists, you'll appreciate an awesome version of 'Moby Dick' with John Bonham kicking ass on the drum set!

Enjoy!
