It took almost 50 weeks and 12 million in sales (20 worldwide), but back in 1988, Def Leppard's 'Hysteria' album finally reached number one on the U.S. charts.
The album was the bands fourth, and was produced by Robert John 'Mutt' Lange.

'Hysteria' contained some great tunes, including 'Animal', 'Love Bites', Pour Some Sugar On Me', and 'Armageddon It.'
When it came out, it was one of the longest albums recorded, at 62 minutes, 30 seconds.

Here's the video version of Def Leppard's 'Armageddon it' from this weeks Classic Rock Pick - 'Hysteria!'
