1988.
It as a very good year for me...I think, and it was a very good year for Guns-N-Roses.
25 years ago this week, the guys hit the number one position!
The climb may have been long , but GnR's "Appetite for Destruction," topped the album charts in the U.S.
It ranks as the highest-selling debut album of all time.
Too bad the group was headed for destruction, but that's the world of Rock, isn't it?
Great songs came out of that album, including "Welcome To The Jungle", 'Mr. Brownstone", "Paradise City" and "Sweet Child 'O Mine " to name a few.
Let's celebrate with Guns'N'Roses "Welcome To The Jungle."
