We're crankin' up the Whale Time Machine again this week, and the date we're traveling to is September 24th, 1990.

The 80s are finally over. Time to put away the spandex and cut that big hair. It's the 90s now and we are about to be treated to a brand new album from AC/DC. That album is 'The Razors Edge' and it was released on this day in 1990.

This particular album was the only studio album where Chris Slade was on drums. It did very well chart-wise, having reached the number 4 position in the UK and number 2 on the US album chart.

'The Razors Edge' was AC/DC's 11 studio album, featuring such powerhouse songs as Moneytalks, Thunderstruck, Are You Ready and the title track The Razors Edge. All those tunes except The Razors Edge reached the top 25 US singles chart.

For this week's Classic Rock throwback Thursday, enjoy AC/DC jamming out to Thunderstruck. And after you rock out to the original, take a gander at the group Steve'n' Seagulls version of the tune. I'm sure you get a kick out of it!
