'Back in Black' is the title of the song (released in 1981) and album it appears on (released in 1980), and is a tribute to Bon Scott.
It wasn't an easy write for the rest of the band members, but they got through it.

The song peaked on the Billboard Top 100 at number 37 in 1981, and in 2006, received the RIAA's Master Ringtone Sales Award for gold and platinum.
In 2007, 'Back in Black' became 2 times platinum.
