It's a new year, and so why not choose 'New Year's Day' by U2 as an appropriate song to highlight for this week?
Sounds good to me.

This video I found on YouTube, is a cool compilation by Tommy McGregor of the song done in concert from several venues.

A bit of history on the tune:
The song can be found on the album 'War' which came out in 1983.
It did well on the charts in the UK, and also charted on the Billboard Hot 100.
The song was inspired by the Polish solidarity movement, and the video which was flimed in Sweden in 1982, was one of the first most heavily played tunes on MTV.

The members of the band didn't appear musch in the video, and those four people you see riding on horseback?
Yea, that's not the guys, rather it's four Swedish teenage girls who were disguised as the members of the band with masks over their faces.
