This Thanksgiving week, I've been showcasing some of my favorite Classic Rock songs, and today, it's The Doors 'The End.'

This is one song that sends chills down your spine.
Jim Morrison is at his haunting best on this tune.
He originally wrote it about the break up with Mary Werbelow, who was his girlfriend, but you can interpret it as just about anything you want it to mean.

The song is a perfect fit in the movie 'Apocalypse Now', airing twice, in the opening sequence and during the killing of Marlon Brando's character Colonel Walter E. Kurtz.
Take a break from the madness of Black Friday, and chill out to this video version of 'The End' by The Doors.
