Are you like me, and having a Christmas hangover? No, not because of the alcohol. Let me explain.

Once Halloween disappeared from sight and November 1st hit, the elves were out in force with Christmas in full swing. Actually the first sight of Christmas for me, came in the form of artificial trees on sale in varoius stores early in the the month of October.

It's not hard to get caught up in the season, and for almost 2 months, the signs are everywhere. Finally, Christmas Day comes for 24 hours of holiday craziness. It's a culmination of 2 months of planning, shopping and parties. Then it happens - December 26th. OK, maybe that day is still a part of the holiday for the returns, exchanges and spending the Christmas money and gift cards on stuff you don't really need. I did.

So let's move on to December 27th. Now you sit back, look at the Christmas tree and wonder what the hell just happened. It's like the holiday train just came to a screeching halt. Christmas is over. You don't want to hear any more holiday music, the gifts you bought the kids are already broken. Any cash or gift certificates you received, are gone.

Oh well,  no worries. The next Christmas season begins November 1st, 2015. Only 10 months away! Not that I'm counting.
